Retinal Imaging
Using modern digital imaging equipment, we are able to take photographs of the front and back of the eye.
This gives an accurate record of the health of the eyes and, by looking for and tracking subtle changes in the images, it is extremely useful in diagnosing and screening for ocular disease such as diabetes and glaucoma.
We are also able to print or email a copy of your retinal images to other medical professionals if necessary, or let you have a copy for your own records.

Visual Field Testing
A visual field examination is usually carried out to assess the peripheral vision to detect any signs of abnormality. Defects in the peripheral vision such as blind spots or a loss of sensitivity in the peripheral vision can be caused by a number of eye and health conditions.
At Lunettes, we have modern computerised visual field analysers designed to detect early changes in the visual field.

Colour Vision Testing
We regularly screen for colour vision defects during a routine eye examination, particularly when examining children. Detecting colour vision defects is important because it can have a great impact throughout life from studying to choice of career.
Lunettes have a number of ways of assessing colour vision including the Ishihara Test, The City University Test and the Holmes Wright Lantern Test.
Our eyecare professionals have years of experience in assessing colour vision for the RAF and we are approved optometrists to carry out CAA eye examinations.
